This is a great test for 8th and 9th grade students as the PSAT is in the
exact same format as the college level SAT I. Discover your student’s strengths
and weaknesses while you still have plenty of time to adjust curriculum during the
early high school years to prepare your student to score well on the college level
SAT I or ACT. The PSAT can also be used to determine equivalent scores to the FCAT
for graduation verification purposes. It is also less expensive then most standardized tests.
Once your student is in high school, colleges and community colleges only request college level
placement tests, SAT I & II and ACT scores.
